"Very nice place and people running it. We had a spacious and spotless room on the topfloor. We had dinner at the hotel, fish & chips, some chicken and a tasty chantarelle sandwich, all very tasty. We can also recommend the desserts.
The village was small, sleepy but nice to stroll around. Some pubs and restaurants, we didn’t try them. A Coop and some small nice shops, we visited a fishing-shop at High street with a service-minded owner. There is a museum but we didn’t visit it."
"We loved the apartment at Sweeney Two - it has a real WOW factor with its industrial style, which was unexpected in the middle of Aviemore! It had everything we needed and the garden area is a real bonus.
It’s in a great location for exploring the Cairngorm area, we went to the mountain resort to do the tubing slides and funicular and then on to the reindeer walk, all of which we can recommend. Thanks for a great stay!"
"I spent two weeks in the highlands and this was the first hotel I stayed at for two nights in the Cairngorms. It was my favorite place I stayed the whole trip, such a warm authentic country feel with the nicest staff who make you feel right at home in the highlands. The breakfast was fabulous too, my favorite Scottish breakfast of the trip, with pretty views into their courtyard and quiet peaceful vibe. "

"Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from
