"Some of staff appeared overwhelmed when we stayed. It was a busy weekend due to the Fourth of July and I don’t think they were prepared for it. When my family and I went down at 9 am, there was already a line of people waiting for eggs. I’ve worked in hospitality and have never seen a line form for eggs. They had run out of the potatoes and there was some sausage. They must have been so busy because there was no milk, yogurt or pastries. There were some cinnamon rolls, a half used loaf of bread, some cereal (with no milk) and apples. There were no juice cups and I was able to grab the last two cups of coffee to drink coffee. The pancake machine was also not working. When they brought back a pan of eggs, they only brought one. Of course the eggs ran out in a matter of 2 minutes since there was a line to get eggs. They should have made two pans since there was a group of us who never ate eggs. When we asked the manager if more eggs would be coming, she had informed us there wouldn’t be. Since they had run out of everything, we had to keep asking for items. The following morning we went to eat breakfast at 7 and there was still everything. I would have gone earlier the previous morning, but we had driven 10+ hours the day before, and we wanted to rest. I am not sure if this is the norm once it’s 9:00 am, but I feel the staff should be more prepared for holiday weekends. Other than that hotel was clean and the room was comfortable."
