Hotel was great, convenient to highway, had an old English feel to it. Host was very friendly, really enjoyed staying here!

Just brilliant, room great, food was amazing beer great too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the staff on reception. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, plus you could order custom eggs.

It was an amazing experience. The best part was the cleanliness and service.

The hotel was great! Very nice place, nice rooms. Bathrooms were all updated despite the inn being 500 years old. Beds were comfortable, there was enough space for our family of 4 in the family room. Very neat old building with the huge old wood beams. Innkeepers were very welcoming. Inn itself was quiet, but we had a little noise from the street as our windows were open and they were right about the entrance to the pub downstairs, so we would hear conversations of those coming and going from...

Property managed to get it just right! Super historical and atmospheric yet still very comfortable. The bed was cozy and the rooms quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. Breakfast was made to order and excellent! Parking was tight yet present and free. Hotel was 3 blocks from city center and 2 blocks from cathedral. Perfect placement. Do yourself a favor and choose to stay here!!

My partner and I stay here whenever passing through due to the gym and sauna. The rooms are all clean and comfortable, but amenities vary depending on what you book--when staying for business, we stay in a nicer room which has a mini fridge with drinks, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathrobes etc. When just passing through, we book a basic room which has a shampoo/soap combo, no shampoo, no mini fridge and no bathrobes.

Traveling from the USA , this is the second time we have stayed here visiting family in the area, great location , food and staff.

Public area welcoming. Quick check in. Nice comfortable room. Quite large. Comfy bed. Plastic on bottom of shower door needed a good clean as did around the taps but the rest of the room/bathroom was spotless. The desk had quite a few chips. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening with great service. Good breakfast

Perfect for those who love 18th century grand mansions and gardens.

Nice property, very clean. Nice staff. Would stay here again. Greta location for Highclere Castle and Stonehenge.
