"Great breakfast, very friendly staff, very clean room. The only 2 things I would say that could improve: there was no flat sheet, and being summer time, the room was warm and too hot to sleep with the duvet, so a flat sheet was needed. The room could use some updating, toilet flush only worked after pressing several times. The window was really old and hard to open and close. Good pillows, good towels. And again, the best staff. Slightly pricey for the room you get. "

"We had a one night stay here. The location was easy to get to, just off the A1, and there was plenty of parking. To check in you have to go into the Marstons pub where there is a small reception desk. We checked in and then you go to the seperate accommodation block. There is a large Asda and a very nice garden centre just across from the site. We ate in the pub restaurant which was nice food at a reasonable price. "We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. "

"We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. "
