Bring your pets and enjoy this cozy, 728 sq ft. home conveniently located along route 11/15.

Designed with you in mind, we`ve brought in furnishings to ensure comfort and functionality. Spend the weekend while you explore the Appalachian trail, Susquehanna River, Hershey Park, Harrisburg City, and more. Enjoy the Drip coffee maker with coffee provided.

The historic and currently operational Pennsylvania Railroad runs behind the property- people come from all over to visit this landmark. While it is an impressive sight, be aware there will be railroad noise.

The 90ft driveway ensures lots of parking and gives you a little bit of distance from route 11/15. Use the backyard for fires in the fire pit, a place for your pet to roam in the fenced area, or time to unwind.

Property rules:

- Please do not bring unauthorized pets. $100 Pet fee applies per pet.

- Please specify accurate guest count and notify us if that number changes.

- All day time visitors must be registered and included in the guest count

- Respect noise ordinances. Quiet hours between 10 PM and 7AM

- No Smoking.

- No Fireworks

- The property has outdoor surveillance for guest safety and property maintenance.

-Please remember to thoroughly check all your belongings before leaving. If you forget something and want it shipped back to you, we can do that for $35.

You are welcome to use the garage although there is no garage door opener. The door works manually.

We live a few miles away but you can reach us via the Airbnb messaging app anytime.

Use the sheetz number 238 along State Route 11 for a GPS reference. Lots of good camping and hiking in this area. Other nearby attractions include diners and convenient stores. The River is a great place to take your boat and do some fishing!

Adorable bungalow in a great location!

We enjoyed our stay and that we were able to have our dog along on this trip. Great communication with the PM and easy access to the downtown area. I would recommend this property.

Wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge

We attended a wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge. The house was only 10 min from the venue and was perfect! Had everything we needed and was neat, clean and updated. There is a train that runs out back but wasn't a big bother for us. House was great!

Charming and clean!

I enjoyed my stay at this property from A to Z. Everything was as described on the website. The host was extremely accommodating and directions were simple and clear. The pet inclusion was convenient and the fenced yard made me feel safe. I have a yearly commitment in this area and will definitely rent here again.

Noisy little house, but worked for us

It is an unusually noisy property, but we preferred the comforts here over a hotel. It offered more space for us, yard access for our dog, and TV streaming. Queen bed was very comfortable. Traffic and train noise did not bother us much.

Great property includes all you need.

Great property and included all the kitchen, bath, & laundry essentials we needed. Whatever we did not have could be found just up the road a short distance at the store. Close to the city but far enough away that you did not feel crowded. The house was clean, cozy, & bed was super comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each night and watching the traffic go by on the busy highway. Everything was as advertised. Would stay again if in the area.

Cozy Well Kept cottage

This place is small and cozy. The renovations were nice. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The house is on a very busy road with lots of traffic when people are going to and from work/school. Traffic noise is a bit much at first, but it slows down after 1:00-12:00 at night. Also, a train track runs behind the house, but the train doesn't run late at night. We had a good stay there and would recommend it. We had everything we needed.

This was perfect for us!

This was my husband and I and our 2 teenagers and two Labrador dogs. The house was just as described. I read in the bathtub and my son watched movies while my husband and daughter went fishing for small mouth bass on the Susquehanna! It was close to Harrisburg where we went for dinner and other events. Some people mentioned about the railroad tracks that are right behind the house and we did hear them quite a few times but never at night. The beds were comfortable enough, the wifi was excellent. The only downside is that the house is right off of a busy road and coming in and out of the driveway was MILDLY challenging. The fenced in yard was awesome for the dogs. We would stay here again.

If your a light sleeper you may want to take ear plugs with you otherwise the place is so easy to get to, the doggie yard is very good, the place is stocked quite well, all around it is a cozy place

this is a super cute little house, just right for our weekend. The host was amazingly responsive, super quick to answer questions! the fenced dog yard was just the right size. I used a bungee cord on the back gate to keep it from popping open because my nosey dog knew that door was not locked!
