"Thank you for another great visit and stay at Uptown. Your staff is kind and friendly. The room was actually a bit too warm but otherwise it's a great hostel. I wish the staff at Best Cafe were as nice as the staff at Uptown. I tried to enter Best Cafe and no sooner had I stepped into the doorway when a woman staffer pushed me out closing the door in my face and saying they couldn't take in just one more customer - even with empty tables waiting! I couldn't find another sea food restaurant to eat at - wish there were more of them to choose from when you are hungry between 3 and 5pm and all the good eateries are closed! Thanks for another great stay at Uptown. "

"We LOVED this property, from the warm, friendly welcome to the beautiful room with everything you need! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Just around the corner to the buses and Octagon and we enjoyed a short walk to the stunning Railway Station. Close to Woolworths, City market and was so quiet. 100% recommend for rugby games! "
