Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. Beautiful B and B in the countryside. Owner treated us like family. Very Helpful and Friendly. Property beautifully decorated, Ground and views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking. Keep in mind you must have a car to stay at this property. You are in the countryside, but you're a short drive down the mountain side to a small city if you need to buy groceries or a meal. If you don't want to make your own lunch or supper you will need to dive into town as this property only serves...

Good basic hotel with large clean rooms.

Staff provided excellent directions off the camino. Nice restaurant for dinner and nice full breakfast. Beautiful hotel and walking path into Markina. Highly recommended.

Close by to Guggenheim. Easy access to public transport. Clean. Quiet. Good WIFI. skip hotel breakfast and go to Cokooncafé for the best breakfast you will find in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a good choice to spend the night here and take a day trip to the busy San Sebastian. It was convenient to have breakfast included.

This hotel is a great location for the Guggenheim and for dining. It’s a bit longer walk to the old town section of town. If you have a car you will find the garage exceptionally clean and relatively easy to get in and out of. It’s also easy to get in and out of the city from the hotel. The staff are very professional, courteous, and most of the kitchen staff speak some English. The food was very good and my family especially appreciated the orange juice machine for breakfast. Amazing views!

A simply wonderful stay!

Beautiful modern property located in close proximity to the Guggenheim Museum. Rooms are well equipped, modern and clean with large showers. Very friendly staff at check-in, luggage service, housekeeping, bar and check-out. Only stayed 1 night but will def book again if I was to return to Bilbao.
