"We stayed here for five days. Upon check-in we were charged $50 extra for “incidentals.” We have had this happen before. We knew we wouldn’t be using anything in or at the hotel because we were there to travel so the hotel was basically a place to shower & sleep. Very rarely did we come back and find anyone at the desk. The cleaning staff were wonderful and we saw them everyday. Frankly they were the best part of the stay there because they cleaned and made up the room daily which was an absolute treat. Nothing like coming back to sleep after a long day and walking into a room with a neatly made bed and freshly folded towels! As far as the incidentals charge we used one paper cup and a bar of soap to wash our hands. No water, no snacks or bar service. NOTHING. When we went to check out, once again no one was at the front desk. There was a glass fishbowl with instructions to place your room keys in the bowl so we did. We had a flight to catch so we were unable to get a copy of the final charges to the room. "

"Didn’t even stay at the hotel, booked for 1 night and it messed up. Refused to give a refund or anything. Wouldn’t stay here if my life depended on it. If someone offered me all the money in the world and told me all I had to do was stay here for 1 day, 1 night. I’d probably pass on it. That’s out of how much of a terrible experience this whole ordeal has given me"

"The room was a fun retro style with an amazing bathroom. Best towels I've had at a hotel, thankful for a much better towel than the typical sandpaper, lol. The staff was great and helpful, especially appreciated the front desk and the bell desk."

"Everything was clean, beds were ok, 1 hard 1 extremely soft. Breakfast was make your own waffles, omelet with peppers or hard over eggs and home fries, or cereal but no bread except bagels. Had to wait for eggs to be refilled."

"Terrible service! We chose this hotel bc it was conveniently located across the street from the hospital. The reason we needed to stay was because our father was called in for transplant. My sister and I spent the night at the hospital with our dad bc it was required for us to be there. Our mother and my nephews stayed at said hotel. Giving that we booked online we were charged for parking that was not listed at time of booking. Fortunately the day time receptionist did credit that back. Upon check out we were charged for 6 people all charged as adults, which there was only 4 (1 adult and 3 children) who stayed at the hotel (room with 2 double beds) but the night receptionist said she saw 6 adults. To access the room you have to walk in to the lobby and the receptionist obviously can’t count. We were charged extra bc a room with 2 double beds can only accommodate 2 people? Which also was not listed at time of booking. This appears to be a very old hotel but has been updated inside but if they want to keep business they should act accordingly bc we could have very well got better treatment next door to them! The staff need to be evaluated for finger counting. Apparently that skill isn’t required for the job. It’s apparent that they like to take advantage of people that are obviously staying there to be across from the hospital. Parking is $20!!! It is less than that for valet @ the hospital. Do better!"
