The air conditioning and pool were just perfect for our arrival in the heat of August. "If you are showing up after 11pm definitely call the hotel to inform them. Especially if you are taking the Amtrak in. I called the morning before we arrived to inform them and the woman I spoke with was so kind and thanked us for calling. She let us know the Amtrak is perpetually late so even though we would have arrived before the cut off at 3am.. there was a chance we would miss that cut off. And she was right! Our arrival went from 1:30am to 3:30am due to all the delays. They worked with us and checked us in right at check in time despite us not arriving yet. I was so grateful they held the room for us. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly beautiful. I would love to stay here again. We perpetually missed breakfast so I can’t speak to that but I am sure it was lovely. Great price and great location. 5 minute walk to the downtown area which was ideal because summers are HOT there lol. Thank you for a lovely stay."
