"We were there for graduation weekend which meant surge pricing and apparently minimal housekeeping. Room was dirty upon check-in with toothpaste residue on the mirror and console, and visible ???? On the carpet by the windows. We returned at 4 pm the next day and housekeeping hadn’t been to our room. I called the front desk and they promptly sent someone up to refresh everything. That was great. But, for $1000 a night, we should not have this. I will check out the Marriott or somewhere else next time."

"There was no breakfast. It is very basic. I stayed for two nights during graduation weekend. The one positive was when I checked in they gave me a little bag with some pompoms, a whistle, and noise maker for people who were here for graduation. The room was mostly acceptable with functioning fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and shower. However, I didn’t feel that it was thoroughly clean. The towels and bedding appeared to be clean and the mattress was decent. But the bathroom was dingy and there was a bunch of garbage under both beds. Like a whole bunch of dead rose petals,globs of dust and crumbs, bit of food, like Doritos and chips and dirt like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. That kind of grossed me out because I dropped a pill and I went to pick it up and that’s what I found. It makes me think what other parts weren’t actually cleaned properly. Some parts of the room seem like they have been renovated in the past 4-5 years, while other parts are old and worn and should be replaced. For the price I paid, it was very disappointing. Over $500 for two nights. Not worth it. Luckily my daughter graduated and I’ll never have to stay there again. I think because so many young people rent those rooms that they just aren’t taken care of but I feel I really got ripped off for the price. It’s a basic motel room. "

"NO AMENITIES....NONE. there is NO WIFI available in rooms. No cable, no pool, no lounge, no staff. However the two staff (one day, one evening )they had during our stay were very kind and did their best with what little they had. One room's (had two) carpet smelled like urine. But oddly enough, beds slept well. But that was after check for bed bugs and disinfecting ourselves. Homeless people in lobby. Broken down cars in front lot of hotel. Only one entrance open to guests and no real lighting in parking lots...uneasy feeling having to park in back and walk around a large building to be able to get in. Owner, Lin Kueng, should be ashamed of himself leaving the hotel in such condition. It has such potential to be an incredible location.They actually had a wedding in conference room...don't know how they did it with little staff. Overall the majority was clean to the naked eye. Kitchy furnishings, that again could be nice....but when lobby couches have stretched out "covers" it doesn't look like they care. But on a side note, got for a fairly good rate for a "nice hotel"...not for this hotel. Should be offered a refund of some kind. Or take better care of your employees and hotel or sell it!"

"Stayed for MSU graduation. Every staff member interaction was great, special shout out to Kyra who was in charge of room we rented for the reception- she was wonderful to work with, as was Ellie at the front desk. Comfortable accommodations, would stay again!"

"I choose the hotel as one of my other options had clearly mentioned their pool is going under maintenance.. decided to book this.. and for all my stay their pool area was not working, when asked it was a regular maintenance and would take couple hours.. however these couple hours lasted my whole stay.. my kids were disappointed"
