"Overall, a really pleasant stay in a suite on the 2nd floor. I was on the side looking toward the whale sculpture and away from the bridge, so traffic noise was minimal. The suite was nice and spacious with a full kitchen & living area, felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. The kitchen was minimally stocked with essentials, but I'd be sure and bring butter, salt and pepper if I were staying again. Few little things could have been better... there was a broom but no dustpan, the kitchen hood fan didn't work, pots and pans have seen better days, no hangers in the closet, no dish soap or sponge for the sink, batteries were missing from the TV remote, no USB plugins on any outlet or at the desk or night stand, but these are just details. Front desk staff was responsive to requests and fixed what was fixable. I'd still stay here again in the future, especially after learning that the bus into the city center is cheap or free depending on your age! "

"The house was amazing! such incredible views from every room facing the ocean! the location is perfect for anything in reach of downtown! Super easy to find! Communication with the owners was very easy and stress free. They are very accommodating, they ask via text if we needed anything through out our stay and it was truly comforting. "My husband and I stayed three nights and our stay was very nice. Great staff, helpful always with a sense of humor. The location of the hotel, close to historic downtown and on the waterfront was very handy. We could walk to go shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again😊"

"So, I must say I loved staying there. BUT, it’s old. Our room was clean and quiet. Tub dripped a bit which I didn’t care about. Window to didn’t shut quite right. The parking lot was nearly unusable cuz they chose not to deal with the massive snow, but they directed me to a lot across the street I could poach if I left by 8am. You can tell it was amazing in its heyday. My daughter (9) gives it full 5 stars. I only rated cleanliness lower because the ice machine on 2 had LOTS of dust on top of it the whole 4 night stay. Ice machine on 4 didn’t work. All that said, I found it lovely and would wholly recommend if you don’t mind a few quirks in a beautiful old hotel that’s got clean rooms and great food nearby."

"We absolutely loved staying here and it was the perfect location to sight see, eat good seafood and close to downtown as well. The property owner was so amazing and helping with any problems. Even when the microwave at first wasn’t working he ordered a new one to be delivered asap. We love visiting Juneau and will be staying in one of their properties again. "
