"My three night stay worked out perfectly for my needs. Host was gracious, friendly and helpful. Property was exactly as described in the listing. I did give a rating of four stars for the location, due to some remodeling going on on the grounds/yard. However, it was clear in the listing and it wasn't impactful on my stay. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a country setting, quiet and great value."

"My daughter and I spent a couple nights in this adorable cabin celebrating her earning her Masters Degree. Gail was so thoughtful to have graduation decorations out when we arrived along with a delicious carrot zucchini bread. We enjoyed horseback riding nearby, spending a day in Julian visiting tea and pie shops, exploring LaJolla, and surfing Tourmaline in San Diego. The location was fantastic, the cabin was immaculate, and the hosts were so wonderfully thoughtful. Our stay could not have been better."

"If this had been a few hundred bucks cheaper we would have given it 5 stars! The communication was an issue before we arrived-we never got the gate code, clear directions to the property or security code to get into the rental itself, despite having messaged hours before we got to the location. Two numbers listed went straight to voicemail, we thought we had actually been scammed for a minute. We ended up having to call over a fence to someone to see if they could help. It was all sorted when Alessandro came up and gave us all the right information. We knew it was a tiny home, but the pictures online are deceiving as it’s a bit more narrow than it seems. The biggest complaint is that windows next to the bed are awesome and have a great view, but we felt like we had to keep the blinds closed, especially in the mornings because multiple people walked past and could have a clear view of us about 5 feet from our bed. The other rental is literally only a few yards away and those guests need to pass by to get to their car. If you’re someone who likes to cook in these little cabins, the hot plate they supplied was slow and it took forever just to boil water for potatoes-cooking a whole meal would have been a nightmare! The whole point of a VRBO is that you’re staying in a little unique home away from home. For 2 days this was the price of luxury hotel, without the sense of privacy or autonomy that was the whole purpose of getting this kind of rental to begin with!"

"The hosts Mike and Shirley are very thoughtful and I absolutely loved it. So did my wife. Everything was beautiful and amazing. Very comfortable bed and again they have thought of almost everything! We loved the place didn't even want to leave but life calls and we has to go home. From before we arrived Mike and Shirley were very communicative and welcoming. To our surprise the house was fully stocked with groceries and supplies. Everything was exceptionally clean organized and beautiful. We decided to wake up early to go for a walk and found a nearby hiking trail that we were unaware of was uphill and two miles long! But I loved it. I hope I get another chance to stay at this place. It is very relaxing and welcoming and comfortable. Anybody who stays here will not regret it!"

"My husband and I decided on a staycation to celebrate our anniversary and were very happy with all aspects of the property from the location to the cleanliness to all of the amenities this home has to offer and that game room brought us both some major nostalgia!
