"Beautiful room and food on site was lovely. It was very good value for money and in general we really enjoyed our stay. Quite noisy through the night with lorries up the High Street. It advertises limited parking - parking is extremely limited with only 2 spaces, one of which appeared to be in use by I'm assuming the owner (due to the private number plate) . However there is a free public car park a very short walk away. "

"The Cairn Lodge is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. "Friendly , pleasant and helpful staff at this hotel. We enjoyed the free organised activities within this hotel, for example the music bingo, which was fun. It would have been useful to be given the list of activities at reception on arrival as we didn't find out about the events until our second day at the hotel. There is even a cinema,

Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed.
