"A lovely establishment & beautiful setting Unfortunately there is renovation work at present & it spoilt our stay, there was a small temporary gym We had a lovely room over looking the golf course, but the workmen were parked directly outside our balcony giving us no privacy at all, we had to keep the curtains pulled which was a shame.. They arrived at 6.30am & the noise woke us up each morning. I dont think these rooms should be used whilst such work is going on."

"Check in speedy & shown straight to room which although cosy was well equipped & very clean, staff all ready friendly & welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent. Although evening meal was well cooked & good plate size, we thought that the menu was fixed & rather limited, there were no specials offered. Would struggle to eat there for more than a couple of nights."

"This is a top hotel to stay. We were in the luxury suite on the top floor, room 306 with a massive bathroom & gorgeous sea views. We were v impressed with the concierge service as we booked parking at the premises. Our luggage was collected and dropped and the concierge moved the car for us. This was fantastic as the spaces are tight. We were there for folk week and really enjoyed the vibes of the festival experienced right by the hotel. Breakfast was excellent too and served (not buffet). Thanks to the reception staff member- sorry I cant remember your name and the Nepalese lady who served us Breakfast. We will be back"

"The Hotel is fine. The room appears to have been redone over the past few months, just a shame the bathroom wasn’t also updated as it was very aged, definitely needs an update. In the evening a light outside, to illuminate the Hotel sign, & unfortunately this shines into the room, which is very annoying. The breakfast was good, great staff, different cereals and a nice fry up. I think update the bathroom, both pillows are too soft, need a firmer pillow, and switch the light off at night outside and you’re onto a winner."
