"This was possibly our favorite hotel in a month-long trip in Scotland. It is in an ideal location--close to everything (walkable) but quiet and peaceful. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful especially because the airline lost our luggage. The hotel staff, especially Ashleigh, worked very hard to try to trace the luggage. We were amazed at her persistence and thoughtfulness. Our only quibble about the hotel is that the two places we ate dinner (the only nearby options) were not very good. They were not part of the hotel, but the hotel does not offer dinners. The breakfast, though, was excellent."
