Top East Linton Hotel Reviews

Stay Hush

10/10 Excellent

"This property, is amazing, beautiful, comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly and accommodating, so clean you will feel guilty to mess it up. Well worth it and centrally located to the Edinburgh mile. I’d like to give them/you 10 rating. It that special."

The Scott

10/10 Excellent

"The building is gorgeous, the room spacious and so comfortable, but the staff is the standout here. Cheerful, helpful, and so accommodating. They made the trip for us. The breakfast is amazing - enough to carry you through lunch and beyond. The hotel is a wee bit off the beaten track if you’re wishing to be on the Royal Mile every day, but the local bus service is excellent and you are in the midst of everything within 15-20 minutes. Thank you for everything. It was a treat."

The Scholar

8/10 Good

"\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one. The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents."

The Abbey Residence

8/10 Good

"I arrived very late. The staff were so friendly, and upgraded me from a single to a double room, I think because the single had gone to someone else. The bed was super comfy, I've never slept in a hotel room with such a comfy mattress before. The room was a bit run down, but clean enough. The breakfast was very basic, but good enough, and again the staff were very kind and helpful offering cups of tea or coffee. Very impressed for a two star hotel at the price I paid"
