Beautiful impression as you enter. Staff were awesome. Terrific view of the golf course and people playing with their dogs. Very comfortable and relaxing.

The receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches...

Excellent But no internet connection in the room only in the social area

Amazing mansion conversion into an event center and hotel. And there is even a lift to get you up to the top floor! Breakfast was generous and cooked to order. It was somewhat difficult for me to find using GPS. Needed to ask for help at the Tesco petrol station.

Wow! From the time you pull into the parking lot until you check out! Friendly and professional staff, spacious room and the castle is clean, clean, clean throughout! Dalhousie Castle is the ideal place if you're looking to stay in a castle in the Edinburgh area. It's about a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center which is just far enough to be out in the peaceful Scottish countryside. The castle itself is absolutely beautiful, and sits on grounds that are equally so, with archery, falconry, and several great walking paths. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and accommodating - we were even greeted by a nice gentleman in full Scottish garb who...

Staff were great. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend the garlic bread with cheese. Comfortable bed in a nice place. Easy to check in and out. Just walk inside and ask a staff member for the key.

The only downside to this property really was the lack of air conditioning. It was extremely humid when we were there and no way to remove the humidity from the room. But it wasn't hot or anything, so not a big deal. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great, everything worked well. I especially loved how declining service came with a perk or a charity donation.

Everything was in good condition. The towel warmers even worked. Homemade cookies along with tea and coffee in room. My wife really appreciated the fact that there was a fan. Only drawback is the Inn is on a busy street. Request the suite if road noise bothers you. The best part of Inn is that the Resturant is top quality that means you must have reservations. Not handicapped friendly long staircase with no lift.

From the initial booking and later speaking to Emma, who made me feel confident that I had made the correct choice for a fabulous hotel break, the rest of the team were all of a high standard, and together, they worked as great ambassadors for No. 11 and treated their guests with the utmost kindness, and respect. Rooms were very large as were the bathrooms. Food was exquisite and staff (Scott) was wonderful. Highly recommend the Inn at Lathones.
