"Our group of 4 adults and 2 teens traveled from the U.S. and stayed her for 1 week and we were so thrilled with this property! The beds are comfortable and the 2 full bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen is also spacious and has everything you need and more! Upon arrival, the property owner left us some shortbread, eggs, milk, and bread- WOW!! There were also fresh flowers which was such a nice touch. We also loved when the horse would come up to the fence in the mornings and we fed her apples! You are only 5min to the train station and then it’s only 20min to Edinburgh. We also visited Stirling and North Berick- highly recommended! The only minor “issue” was that there isn’t a dryer, just a clothes line… which is fine if it isn’t raining. There is a portable rack for inside, but it isn’t convenient if you need your clothes the next day… however, the owner lives right next to the cottage, so when I asked if there was a dryer setting on the washing machine and she explained there wasn’t, she kindly generously let us use hers!! My only other suggestions would be to add hooks in the bathrooms/ bedrooms to hang towels… but that’s really it! We truly enjoyed staying here!"
