"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat!
Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay.
Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "
"We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely.
We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. "

"Breakfast great, bed comfy, no hot water at basin in the room but hot water in the shower room basins across the corridor. Nice stay for a stop over but I agree room walls very thin so noise can be an issue."

"The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. "Location is perfect, close to center and yet in a quiet street, room was comfortable and clean with plenty of milk for tea and coffee which is a rarity in hotels. Nice enough breakfast and staff were very helpful, really enjoyed our 2 day stay there, plenty of restaurants around and close to the tram to go to the sea front as well as to the centre of town. "
