"I absolutely loved the look inside and out of this hotel. Had a nice charm to it. The way the rooms are layed out across the floor means you have one room across from you and not long hallways where noise can travel. You can actually open the windows in the rooms a decent amount. 2nd and 42nd is considerably quieter then grand central or anything near times square/fifth Avenue midtown or penn station, but still very walkable to those locations. Cannot recommend enough "

"Great check in experience. Location is amazing. Rooms were tired. Bathroom sink clogged. Toilet pipe pulling away from wall . Had to request new hairdryer as the one in the room only blew cold air. "

"Great little budget hotel and perfect to be able to have bunk beds so we could each get a really good sleep. Small room but with an unexpected clear view of Empire State Building from both the room and from the en suite. Great shower and water pressure. Friendly staff. Rooms cleaned every day. Central location and really beautiful rooftop bar. We absolutely loved it. And a great price too. The interior corridors could look a bit brighter. But overall a really great place to base ourselves to see Manhattan . Nice easy going area too "

"Great room! Beats other hotels in the area. Comfortable bed, nice high quality linens, thermostat control right next to bed (genius), Nespresso coffee machine, mini fridge and microwave in room, nice bathroom, amazing water pressure in shower. Will stay here again! "
