"This is a family friendly spot that was well furnished and plenty to do. It was really nice that they had fire wood on site ad well as a couple kayaks, and even fishing poles. The road is a nice spot for a walk and in town was fairly close by. "

"This property is a jewel. This is where they should have filmed "On Golden Pond." It is very private, yet only 20 minutes from I-95 and major supermarkets, etc. If you are looking for piece and quiet, security, a delightfully private pond and a stunning view of the opposite, natural, shoreline with no other cottages, this is your place! Beds are very comfortable with good quality linens and blankets. Kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are of very good quality. Plenty of wood is supplied for those cozy fires at night. The moment you pass through the security gate, you are greeted with a stunning view of the lakes and mountains beyond. My wife & I have rented many upscale properties all over the country and this is near the top in satisfaction. The property manager, Roger, even gave me a courtesy call a few days before arrival just to answer any last minute questions I might have. That was a nice touch. During my 2 weeks stay, he was always accessible if I needed him. We would definitely rent again! Len from NH"

"From the moment we pulled up and realized the spot was ours, we were awestruck!….we had our 85lbs Boxer, Max with us in tow and it immediately felt like home, the house is well appointed with everything you would need for a stay, along with the view! The view from all but 2 windows is amazing, and there are a lot of windows! Loved our stay, we canoed, kayak’d and grilled…we loved everything minute of this location…even fished for smallies and had a few real nips….great property and super responsive and accommodating hosts, would recommend over and under over again….we’ll be back!"

"Property is quiet, well laid out, and comfortable. Host is instantaneous with any concerns and/or recommendations. Lake can be seen from the property, and the beach is a short walk. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is our second time staying here. We were super sad to see the cabin was for sale since there’s a good possibility new owners may not use it as a rental. Our son goes to Colby and we fell in love with this cabin and decided there was no need to look for another for the next 3 years of his schooling if we didn’t need to. I guess we will wait to see. Our only gripe is that the speakers on the TV are blown so we had to turn the sound down to avoid the rumbling drowning out everything. We were binging Game of Throwns so not a huge deal since it’s hard to understand what everyone is saying anyway and it’s easier to follow with the closed captions on. But if you have something special you are in to maybe bring your own speaker to plug in. We were a bit sad that the dock had been pulled out of the water too. We really enjoyed wandering out further and fishing off the dock last time. Otherwise, it was perfect and a little slice of heaven that we will continue to go back to if it is available."
