"We had a fabulous stay here. Staff were very friendly. We booked a room with shared bathroom and found it very comfortable. The accommodation was very clean, including the rooms, shared kitchen and shared bathrooms - the best I’ve seen for shared accommodation. Kitchen was equipped with everything you might need - even coffee and basic cooking essentials (salt, oil etc). Breakfast was included and it was fantastic. Lots of home made stuff like bread and jams, even skyr! We really enjoyed the breakfast. It’s only an 8 min drive from where all the puffins hang out (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The only thing to note is that the spa amenities come at an extra cost."

"Welcoming host greeted us, showed us around, then prepped dinner while she enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The dinners she prepared were nothing short of outstanding. Think pinnacle home cooking. Breakfast was decent but not special. Gorgeous setting. Highly recommended. "

"Family vacation traveling with 2 adult children. Excellent location. The only negnative issue was the bathroom sink and shower water had a strong sulfur oder. This was the only time we experienced this. Right on the lake."

"This was a lovely stay! Our room was just what we needed. Mike at the front desk was very helpful. We were going to wait to see the puffins until the next morning but were advised to go visit them that evening. Thank goodness we did!! Thousands of puffins to see. What a site. We went back in the morning and they were all gone hunting just as Mike had said. The drive out there was a little stressful but absolutely stunning! Highly recommend. "
