Great experience at the property

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

We loved our stay at Magma. It's a beautiful property with lovely rooms and restaurant. Breakfast was fairly standard but the beautiful dining room made it even better. The location is great for a south coast road trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay - luxurious and comfortable

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

Great place to stay. Great food, close to the airport, and in a quiet, scenic part of the country, away from the city.

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast buffet each morning was fabulous with lots to choose from, including smoked salmon, local cheese and fresh bread made at the bakery next door. I was able to book a Golden Circle Tour and a day at the Sky Lagoon at the front desk, a very convenient service. Can be loud, but the windows are pretty sound-resistant. Just keep them fully shut!
