We were in one of a cluster of mini houses but it felt like a private place on the bay. "We planned on using the convenience of this guest house as a quick overnight on our way around Iceland. We should have used it as an anchor point. Terrific location, interesting town, amazing hiking all around, and the room was great. The full facility, including a terrific community kitchen were modern and meticulously maintained. All cooking equipment and dining utensils are there. We should have groceried up and spent 2-3 days launching from there "

"We had a great stay and met some other fun travelers. Even though the guesthouse was rather full when we stayed, everyone did their best to keep quiet and share the common areas. It was a lot of fun! Our room was perfectly clean and the beds were comfortable, we were really lucky to find this place because we needed 3 beds and they had the perfect room. I would definitely stay again!"

"One of our best stays in Iceland. Super clean and comfortable property! Eidrum (the owner) Made our stay just perfect! Steyndor (her son) was the cherry on the pie! Both were so courteous and kind! The property is located just off Hofn and has a perfect, open setting for watching Auroras (if you’re lucky!). I highly (highly!) recommend this property for your stay in Southeast Iceland."
