"Clean, well appointed, and appealing room. Our room was large as compared to other rooms we have gotten in Iceland for a similar price. Staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. We ate dinner our first night there and breakfast the next day and both meals were very good. While still not cheap, by Iceland standards we got well prepared meals at dinner. The breakfast buffet the next day was memorable for many homemade items, including wonderful breads and cakes of various types. Overall, we would recommend Hotel Smyrlabjorg confidently to other travelers with no hesitation whatsoever."
