We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

Perfect stay - luxurious and comfortable

We LOVED this hotel! One of our two favorites on this trip so far! Fashionable, comfortable, great view, and great bathroom! Only reason I gave them a smile on service is because we never saw anyone lol. I want to stay there again, and I want the same room!!! 😊😊😊

Everything is perfect.

We are traveling the Ring Road and stayed one night in Hofn at the Old Airline House. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had a great stay. Everything was very clean and cozy and the location was within walking distance to so much.

What a beautiful location! Located in an isolated part of the island, nestled in a valley between two mountains, the property has a beautiful waterfall and a historic turf roofed hut on site. The hosts are very gracious and the guest room has a nice living room, kitchen and bath. It’s convenient to the glacier lagoon, ice caves and diamond beach. Just shop in Vik before you arrive since there are no decent nearby grocery stores or restaurants in the winter.

Beautiful well furnished home with all amenities. It is such a great location.

Great stay

We stay 2 nights at Aurora Cabin. It is located on Highway 1 and it is easy to find. The Cabin is Cosy and have a nice Kitchen with everything we need to cook for a good meal. We met the Property Owner Ivac on 2nd day. He is nice and helpful. He told us where and when to look for Northern Light. We saw Northern Light that night just outside the Cabin. The Cabin is just a few miles from Hofn where we can buy Grocery We will definitely stay at Aurora Cabin again if we come back to Iceland

Beautiful scenery,and horses!

Coming into Seydisfjordur was like driving into a fairytale. A stunning area. Checking into this property was the icing on the cake. The property was impeccable. A modern farmhouse feel that was clean and over the top amazing! We all wanted to stay longer, and we would recommend staying a lot longer in this area.

It is a ideal location to see the northern lights if sky is clean at night and we were luck to see the spectacular aurora that lasted two hours
