"Clean rooms, nice balcony,friendly staff,the air conditioner wasn’t working in my first day there. But the staff was nice enough to switch my room the next day. I also had a wet carpet… overall the place is ok, close to the beach"

"Really loved the hotel but def needs cable tv for night time watching. You only get a couple channels and they all suck lol! Beds were comfy and the shower water was piping hot, which I loved. The view from our balcony, ocean block, was amazing. The AC makes no sound so if you need a fan sound to sleep, bring your own. I was discouraged reading so many other bad reviews on here but glad I gave it a try anyway. The staff were wonderful and so helpful so tidelands def deserves all stars. I could see the parking being an issue too but almost anywhere downtown is like that. We stayed end of August and had a great parking spot. You’re in walking distance to anything you’d need so once you’re parked you are set."
