"Wonderful stay at C Mauritius. The service at this hotel is unmatched. Definitely the best I’ve received at any hotel. Every single staff member goes out of their way to provide excellent service with a smile and warm greeting. The food was excellent and varied every day from breakfast to dinner. Fantastic vegetarian options . Great fruit selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean rooms. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful beach. Pedaloe, paddle boarding and kayaking included. The only improvement I could suggest is having at least one freshly squeezed fruit drink option included in all in inclusive or at least at one meal for guests who do not drink alcohol. Special mention to the below staff members who helped make the stay so lovely but there were definitely more but I didn’t get their names ! Thank you! - Queen gave us a fantastic welcome and was helpful throughout stay - Anastasia who always remembered my name - John, driver for south tour - Abhilesh who insisted on getting a special drink made for us as we didn’t drink alcohol - Sunil who was always so kind at dinner - Danny and deeya at the tours desk - Sharah from housekeeping was lovely - Phoebe was always so helpful - Raj was a true gentleman when taking care of our bags "

"My experience at the Riu Palace was exceptional. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, and the bartenders in particular went out of their way to remember guests’ preferred drinks, which added a personal touch to the service. The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated the flexibility of being able to explore both sides of the resort. I occasionally visited the buffet on the all-ages side before returning to the adults-only area for another meal. It’s worth noting that the main restaurants operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests should plan accordingly. Overall, I had a phenomenal stay. However, I did encounter one unfortunate incident. On the day of a late excursion, housekeeping attempted to clean my room in the morning, but I had chosen to sleep in and asked them to return later. I left the room around 5:30 p.m., and upon returning at 7:30 p.m., I found the room had not been serviced. I contacted the front desk, and although I felt uncomfortable requesting cleaning around 8 p.m., I had already placed the used linens on the floor and hoped to have fresh ones upon my return. Regrettably, I made the mistake of leaving a bag with cash on the dresser rather than securing it in the safe. The next morning, I noticed approximately 6,000 rupees (about $132 USD) were missing. I did not report the incident to the front desk, as I acknowledged it was my responsibility to use the safe. For future travellers , I strongly recommend securing all valuables. "

"Exceptional all-adults boutique hotel located perfectly on the quiet, relaxing East coast of beautiful Mauritius island. I had the pleasure of enjoying 5 nights in the “Best on Beach” room category complete with outdoor terrace with sun bed and a separate balcony overlooking the majestic Indian Ocean. As a vegan, the chefs and culinary team curated delicious vegan meals that far exceeded my expectations. Every meal was flavorful, unique, healthy, and prepared with fresh, quality locally sourced ingredients. There is a garden on-site where many of the ingredients come from to create the amazing meals. The staff here is simply wonderful. Shout out to Disha, Vinesh, Rajiv, Devin, Naresh, Shib, Navin, Mayur, Rajritik, Hanshi, Krishna, Raju, Kenny, Sarah, and Isabelle. Their genuine warmth, hospitality, and kindness made my solo getaway a very special and memorable experience to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend the beautiful SALT of Palmar all-adults boutique hotel. "

"From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future. "
