Top Ecchinswell Hotel Reviews

Winchester Wessex Hotel by Sunday

10/10 Excellent

"Overall was a great stay. Comfortable room with a hearty breakfast in the morning. Excellent staff"

Sure Hotel by Best Western Reading

8/10 Good

"Excellent for the price! The only issues we had were that the breakfast wasn't great (and quite expensive for what it was), and the bathroom in our room smelt really bad (probably due to lack of windows). But for how cheap it was we were very happy with our stay - good location, comfy bed, helpful staff!"

Village Hotel Reading

10/10 Excellent

"Village hotel is a beautiful modern place on the Thames river bank were you can take a boat trip from outside garden. There's plenty of car park spaces. The room was clean with hairdryer iron and ironing board coffee machine with coffee provided soap towels and 50 inch TV .The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good plenty of choices for breakfast and other meals . There is gym swimming pool and hot tub also 7 Large TV Screens in the bar Iwould definitely recommend this place"

Hampshire Court Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Overall: Good stay, but limited food options The breakfast here was really excellent — fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks — not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel."

The Great House, Sonning, Berkshire

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderful stay with exceptional service! We had a fantastic stay at The Great House in Sonning and would happily return! When we first arrived, the TV in our room wasn’t working. We mentioned it to reception, and they immediately offered us two alternative rooms, which we were able to go and look at before deciding. The whole situation was handled so quickly and efficiently, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The bathroom in the room we moved to was slightly smaller, but that really wasn’t an issue. The room itself was lovely, with an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. It was also great to have heating available if needed, as well as a fan for warmer weather. We particularly loved the little touches, such as the selection of snacks and drinks in the minibar, especially the fact that the snacks were from British brands. It’s those thoughtful details that make a difference. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the following morning, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive. You really get the feeling that they care about their guests and want everyone to have a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend The Great House. We can’t wait to come back!"
