"Only problem is that the toilet in our room was poor at flushing. That was a bit unfortunate. The lounge area, the staff, the food was absolutely great. Such lovely people."

Good central hotel
"Nice hotel in the centre of Kirkwall. Street parking was easy enough and you didn't have to pay overnight. The room was far too warm with all of the heaters on full-blast which was not very eco-friendly. We turned all of them off. The hotel restaurant was nice with good grub. "We got in just on darkness after a 7pm departure from Scrabster. The room was clean and compact but had everything we needed. The mattress on the bed was a little springy but all in all, comfortable. I'd stay here again."
