"Great hotel in Edinburgh by Murrayfield Stadium, so not in the heart of the city, but easy buses just outside the hotel to get you there. I really like the hotel, but the rooms are dated and need a renovation, although that is not a major negative. If the rooms could be spruced up the hotel would be exceptional if you prefer staying in non-chain hotels. "
"Our stay at CoDE Pod made the trip. The hostel was perfectly situated close to the main sites, and was a comfort to return to. Great food and bevies, friendly and enthusiastic staff, comfortable mattresses, and clean spaces. Highly recommend. "
"A little confused as the to location of the Hotel, but once established it is Good place to stay, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Definitely would recommend staying there and would stay there again. "
"Overall my stay here was good, but there were just a couple of things that could be improved. One, there was no bin in the room (even in the bathroom, which for women is vital). Two, the shower was cold - I was in a rush so didn’t alert anyone to this, so in fairness they may have been able to fix it. And three, it wasn’t clear if there was any WiFi, but if there was I certainly couldn’t connect to it. The bed was pretty uncomfortable, but if you’re just there for one or two nights it’s fine. Everything else in the room was great - really clean, free toiletries, and a nice big mirror in the bathroom. Finally, the staff were what really made this for me - everyone I interacted with was super friendly and really helpful, especially when I couldn’t figure out how to lock my door! And as I knew I’d be checking in late, I called ahead and they made sure security would know to let me in. The room is very basic and would be a bit of a squish for 2 people (also the bed is a 3/4 double), but it’s honestly fine for a night or two. So all in all, really good value for money if you want a cheap stay close to central Edinburgh, just needs a teeny bit of fine tuning! "
