" ⸻ Great location with a stunning view of the river, and a beautiful little park and village nearby with lovely architecture. It’s only about a 25-minute walk from Waverley Station, which was very convenient. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful – from the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was excellent. The hotel itself was very clean and we had a really good stay. Some areas, such as the toilets, are starting to look a little dated, but overall it was well kept and spotless. Absolutely satisfied with the experience and would happily stay again."

The only thing that we would comment on is that because the rooms don't have opening windows, they are airless. I know this can't be changed, but that is the only negative thing. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Edinburgh. "
