"Quiet, clean room"

"If you want to be in a great location in Edinburgh, this is it. We had four families. Including 7 children. They loved the pool and being right in the Grassmarket under the Castle, near Victoria Street, the fabulous Museum of Scotland and Greyfriars Kirk. Staff were so professional and kind. We were there during a heat wave, and missed air conditioning, but got by with the fans. Definitely recommend!"

PREMIER SUITES Edinburgh Fountain Court

"Quite difficult to spot the parking until past the point on a one way street, you have to visit the reception first to get the fob to open the gates so be careful not to drive past, signage could be bolder. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The apartments were very well equipped and clean, the walls could do with a picture or two to cheer them up though. Beds and pillows were really comfortable making for a good nights sleep. Perhaps some outdoor space would have been nicer."

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection

"We had a wonderful stay at Mount Royal Hotel. Waking up to the castle view every morning was truly special, and the staff were consistently warm and welcoming. The room was quite small, with limited storage and no refrigerator. We paid an extra £20 per night for the castle view, and for us, it was worth it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the strong musty smell in the shower room, which was unpleasant throughout our stay."

"Great location and nice staff. The rooms had a modern but odd design. For example, the bathroom doors had glass that was not clear but also not private; so others in the room can see someone in the bathroom or shower, which was uncomfortable. The parking is conveniently below the hotel but there are very, very few spaces. Additional parking is a five minute walk down the hill from the hotel, which is awkward upon arrival or departure."
