"We appreciated the location which provided great walkability to all interesting points. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a delicious gourmet dinner. We had a pleasant respite in the bar and my husband enjoyed the pool, sauna, and steam room. Our room was comfortable and I appreciated the big soaker bathtub."

"Staff was very helpful. I really appreciated the rooms being cleaned daily. I also liked the amenities in the room with being stocked daily. The breakfast was excellent. Very close to downtown, without the noise of downtown. Great air-conditioning, which was much appreciated. Of the four places that we stayed between Ireland and Scotland on our trip this was our favorite."

"I booked an extra week or so here because I just loved Edinburgh. This hotel is honestly so great. The staff are spectacularly helpful, the complimentary snacks and drinks are plentiful and very convenient, the complimentary drinks at the bar during the social hour are fun (though I missed most of these because I was usually out at that hour, but still, it’s fun if you’re in the hotel, and it’s a good time to have a couple drinks before dinner), the fact that housekeeping is available 24/7 is beyond amazing. I will absolutely be back to stay here again when in Edinburgh next, which I hope can be soon!"
