"Nicer than the pictures—we only got to stay one night, but we would return when we travel through Bergen again. A plus that it had an elevator instead of having to get our luggage up the stairs. We cooked in the kitchen and found that we had what we needed to get the meals together. We also were able to do a load of laundry, a plus. "We had a difficult time checking in. It was very complicated since we arrived a bit later than anticipated. Finally they sent someone but this person only spoke Russian so it was difficult to communicate with them but they led us to the place. That was tough. However, we LOVED the place. There was lots of room for the 4 of us. Amazing big kitchen for cooking. Loved the balcony where we spend time when it wasn't raining. Nice sitting area but watch your head on the low beams. Recommend...

"I only had 24 hours in Bergen as a stop on my trip, so valued proximity to the things I wanted to see. This hotel was exactly what I needed! It was a short walk from the market, fløibanen, shopping, and general sites in Bergen I wanted to explore. I was able to take a bus to/from the airport, but otherwise could walk to anything else I was interested in from the hotel. I was a little nervous about leaving my luggage in the closet since staff gave an access card for guests to manage it themselves, but I quickly learned there's a different level of trust in the Nordic countries that I wasn't used to. The room was clean, had a fan (great bonus in summer!), was quiet, and had anything I needed. The design was fun, but the decor did give me a bit of a visual headache (which I am prone to). That was the only downside, though. The breakfast was lovely and had a great variety as a send off in the morning. I appreciated my stay here and the convenience of its location for sure!"
