"I simply loved my stay at the Hotel Fuerst Bismarck.It is very reasonably priced and the staff is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was an additional 19 Euro per person but absolutely worth it. The hotel is located across from Hamburg Main Station in a safe and centrally located area. The Alster is only a short walk away as well as the fun district of St. Georg with lots of little bars, bistros and restaurants. If you want to visit Museum Ballinstadt - which you should! - you can get there easily from the Main Station by S-Bahn in 20 minutes. "

"The hotel is very comfortable, conveniently located within short 10 min walk of the U Bahn, and in a upscale walkable safe neighborhood. Service is very good. It was very busy when we visited in October, we had to wait to be seated at breakfast. They suggest „less crowded“ times, but seemed to be the same regardless. Exercise room has dumbbells, weight machine, elliptical and treadmill. All in excellent condition, but also popular. Overall, it’s a very good choice, just be prepared for the crowds. "Nice, pet-friendly, hotel. Convenient place to stay near to the motorway. We were travelling with our dog. Staff were very welcoming. There was a small charge, I think €20, for a pet-friendly room. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but they can go in the bar, where you can get food and drinks. The hotel is next to a park where we could exercise our dog. Food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were very good."
