"The house is older, with single-pane glass windows, old wooden plank floors, and so on. It looks charming (my children compared it to the house where Petterson and Findus live), with a nice porch and its own bit of yard. The kids loved the beds in their room. "The unit was as shown in the pictures in a very beautiful rural location. It was a convenient 10 minute ride into Savsjo, if you needed anything. The owner was very attentive and easy to work with. There is a challenge with the water (a dry spring season led to low level in the well during our stay) that currently eliminates use of the jetted tub and could lead to other limitations. Suggest discussing with the owner ahead of time."

"Das Haus steht leicht zurückgesetzt an einem See mit unglaublichem Blick von der Veranda. Man kann von einem Steg aus ins Wasser gehen. Im geräumigen Haus kann man sich ein Kaminfeuer machen. Ein einsamer Ort (nur einzelne weitere Häuser), an dem man zur Ruhe kommen kann. Für WLAN muss man ein paar Meter aus dem Haus raus, um Empfang zu bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

"Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Sållegarden. Der Hof mit den drei Ferienhäusern ist sehr schön. Perfekt für Familien mit Kindern. Es fahren kaum Autos und man fühlt sich mit den richtigen Urlaubs-Nachbarn wie in Bullerbü. Mittwochs und Freitags gibt es Lunch bzw. Dinner welches man buchen kann und ein Café das an diesen beiden Tagen auch auf hat, angrenzend im ebenfalls Familieneigenen Trakt Restaurant und Wald-Hotel. Mehr ist nicht in direkter Umgebung.
