"The property was great but what is absolutely incredible is Guillermo, the property manager. I have never in my life met someone so genuine and ready to help with every single thing, big or small. Not only did he help with the menial tasks of rebooting the wireless router but he also drove and waited for me at the emergency room when an injury needed attention. A true life angel. "We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."

"We certainly enjoyed our stay! We had quite a bit of mis-communication with the host as well as no hot water for the first day we were there (propane tank had run out). "On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am.
