"We very much enjoyed our time. The people were lovely and trying to be very obliging. The entertainment staff was lovely. They had some construction going on. And as a result, the buffet restaurant shut down and moved to another location. that location was quite a walk, and it was down a hill. I don't think people want to walk 10 minutes.to have breakfast, and I do believe that construction should have been limited to perhaps only in the evening, but not in the daytime when you have customers visitors staying there. That was very inconvenient. Other than that. We had a very joyous time and enjoyed that resort. This was our first visit to Tenerife .We are from Canada"

"It has been a few years since I last visited the Hotel and although there are areas that may seem dated in comparison to a very modern hotel, I would not change a thing. This Hotel is special, I love the atmosphere created by the sheer variety and colour of the buildings, filled with character and excitement. So many pools to choose from, there is so much space and there is no-one putting out towels to bag a bed. The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. The rooms are spacious and the beds most comfortable. The Hotel provides a mini bar and some treats for purchase however they also provide water on a daily basis, free treats (which were just lovely), an evening turn down service with complimentary chocolates and the bathroom is stocked with excellent products. The selection of food at breakfast is amazing, I can't think of any item of food that was not on offer or not available upon request, a great way to start the day. There is nightly entertainment and although I didn't take advantage of it, there is an observatory too. It's one of my favourite Hotels and I will be returning next year if not before. It was a simply wonderful stay and I can't recommend it enough."

"We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails."

"Excellent 3 star property, apartment was large and clean, we had a lovely sea view. Did not mind paying daily for the sunbeds as this stops people just placing towels on them and going out for the day. All the staff in the apartments reception were lovely and also at the poolside bar / cafe. Great stay!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s always my first choice when I’m in the area. I know what to expect here and generally always have a lovely stay. This time I did have a bit of an issue getting a late checkout. I had to push quite a bit for it, as initially the staff didn’t seem keen to allow it even though rooms were available. It was eventually sorted, which I appreciated. I then had a couple of issues with the key cards not working, but these were dealt with quickly and everything was sorted within around 15 minutes. Overall, still a lovely hotel and somewhere I’ll continue to come back to. The issues were a little frustrating at the time, but they wouldn’t stop me staying again."

"Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it."
