"Overall our stay at the Krystal Grand was wonderful! PROS: --Altitude room and view were beautiful, bed was comfortable, water and beverages were restocked regularly. Cleaning staff was perfect! --Our butler Joel was AMAZING! So helpful and responsive. Thank you Joel! --Kamp Krystal kids club! Tania was WONDERFUL! My daughter loved her and begged to go to kids club. Thank you Tania! --Miguel the photographer on site! We had an impromptu shoot and it was amazing! Thank you Miguel! --The pools were wonderful, a little cold for me, but nice and clean --Drinks were wonderful and we never had to wait long for one --Breakfast at The Grill (altitude Only). Food and service were phenominal (our morning waiter was the best!) --Pool chairs. Lots of complaints about this but we found it just fine if you got out there by 8 am or so and grabbed some chairs. No biggie and nothing you don't see at other resorts. CONS: --Pullout couch in the room was awful. Even my six year old couldn't sleep with the metal bar in her back --Rooftop bar (Altitude Only) was just a bar with no sun protection and a two foot deep "pool" --Food just wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend the buffett for any meals, it was rough. Italian was very mediocre. I would have loved to try the Japanese and Mexican places but they did not offer a kids menu and wouldn't bring a kids meal from another part of the resort. For a family place, that is just bizarre. We were forced to eat all meals at The Grill."

"Good location. Walkable to local dining and shops. Nice room, however, we got eaten alive by bugs-assuming mosquitoes. Very expensive for alcoholic beverages and food. Nice pools, beautiful resort, but not all inclusive. Pro tip-stop at Walmart first, but your beer, wine, and spirits. Hotel charges $30 for a glass of wine and/or mixed drinks. "

"The staff was terrific! There could have been a little more music by the pool areas as it was very quiet most of the time. Perhaps though that is the vibe of the property. The restaurants were just ok. Breakfast was pretty standard but the other places were just average. Unfortunately due to events, we were not able to enjoy the rooftop restaurant. However, I will say that our room came with a butler and he was terrific! He helped us with off site reservations and his recommendations were terrific. Love the area though as you can get to restaurants and shopping very easy! The property is definitely very nice! One thing to be aware of, they do host a lot of corporate and wedding events. This is important to know because it affects availability in restaurants, pool areas, and can have fairly loud music until 10-10:30p. If you are ok with that then not an issue - just something to be aware of."

"The property was a little farther out from town than we had expected.We had to get an Uber every time we left. However Uber rides were short and affordable . The property has a private pool and hot tub right on the beach we really enjoyed. The patio to the condo was very large and comfortable . The grill was large and clean."

"The condo is very well outfitted and clean. The view is gorgeous and the balcony is huge and fabulous. We would have appreciated more clarity about the beach- it’s accessible but it is not “swimmable” unless you’re a very strong swimmer (mostly red flag conditions) and has very high rough waves and strong undertow. The hot tub and 2 pools are not accessible to kids under 12- only one pool is- this was enforced by security. Since we were expecting a beach holiday with our 6 and 9 year old kids, this is not what we would have booked had the ad been more forthcoming. Be aware that a lot of tours leave from Cabo San Lucas which is a costly uber ride each way. The property contact Kathy was very helpful. We did try an 8pm swim but one of the co-residents was immediately emphatic that we had to be very quiet. One of the rules is basically no running, horseplay, yelling or loud music in any common area (especially the pool area) at any time - hard to feel like this property is meant for excited kids. It really isn’t that kid friendly though a number of grandparents seem to own there and their grandkids visit. Overall clean and nice property but would not suggest for families with young kids who want to swim in the ocean or have any boisterous play or have access to all amenities. It’s great for adults who want to very quiet vacation and aren’t super keen to swim in the ocean. "
