My husband and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Lefevre Inn and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The resort is small (only 11 rooms and a few cabins), so it is quiet and low-key. The location is wonderfully removed from downtown Galena, but still close enough to everything to make day trips easy and relaxed. Our room was huge, with a gigantic spa bath and a fireplace; our dog was welcome (for a fee); the breakfasts were stunningly good (included in the room price); the grounds are lovely; the area is fun, pretty and interesting.
