"The rooms and commons areas are beautiful, well-maintained and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back and hopefully have a longer stay. The only disappointment was our planned "walk" on the path around the beautiful property and over to the covered bridge, etc. Due to the time of year, and the number of geese, the path around the pond areas was basically un-walkable and very unpleasant to the eye."

"The first thing we noticed on arriving was how beautiful the grounds looked outside of the hotel. Everything looked so well maintained. The check in process went smooth. The woman was very nice and even gave us a little welcoming "gift" for our dog. From the moment we walked into our room we noticed how clean everything was. It even smelled clean! The beds were very comfortable. The AC unit blew nice cool air. The bathroom was good sized and had a nice big light-up mirror. There was also a dark washcloth to use to remove your makeup. There were no issues with the shower whatsoever; nice hot water and the water went freely down the drain. The breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of different items to choose from. The biscuits were fantastic! The hotel was in a good location too, not far from downtown Shipshewana where all the shops are and close to the Essenhaus Restaurant. We loved the fact that we could take our little dog with us too. We couldn't bear the thought of putting him in a kennel at 15 years old. All in all we had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay here again!"
