"A lovely, warm and comfortable property. The owners have made every effort to make the house a lovely place to stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and I loved the fact there were things like dishwasher tablets and bathroom supplies, we’ve stayed in so many places where we’ve not been so lucky! The village is quiet and the walk to the fantastic beach is an easy 20 walk along a footpath past the golf club. Turn left along the beach for the fabulous Ship Inn in Low Newton or right for Dunstanburgh Castle. We’d also recommend the Jolly Fisherman in Craster for lunch it has a lovely outside space overlooking the sea. "

"Really nice cosy, romantic room. Really good breakfast. We had dinner booked elsewhere, but we wished we had a second night to eat at the restaurant, it looked very nice."

"This was the best place we stayed in England. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We bought oven ready meals and cooked them. Made a salad. Good times. Lovely garden in back overlooking Pub. It was easy walking to grocery and Pub. "

"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. Only downside for me personally was that I didn’t find the sofas particularly comfortable and ended up going home with a sore back. Otherwise a great stay and a wonderful base for exploring Northumberland. "
