"Excellent location for exploring the Northumberland coast and beyond.Accommodation had all we needed for a 4 night break and warm and cozy in the autumn weather.Dunstanburgh Castle Inn is excellent for food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Greys Inn is also OK.Fully recommend and will return when we can! :)"

"This was the best place we stayed in England. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We bought oven ready meals and cooked them. Made a salad. Good times. Lovely garden in back overlooking Pub. It was easy walking to grocery and Pub. "

"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. Only downside for me personally was that I didn’t find the sofas particularly comfortable and ended up going home with a sore back. Otherwise a great stay and a wonderful base for exploring Northumberland. "
