"I wasn't expecting the stay to be as good as it was. The room was compact but comfortable. The shower was instantly hot so no need to waste water waiting for it to get hot. Lovely scented body wash and shampoo. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were luxurious. The TV was a good size, not tiny. The Spanish lady at the bar was really kind and very helpful. In fact all the staff were really polite and welcoming. Food was great. Breakfast buffet was really good with full English and continental breakfast on offer. I have stayed in lots of hotels and was pleasantly surprised by this one."

"Stayed in their twin room, which was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a full bath and shower space. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We also ate at the pub restaurant and very much enjoyed the food. Big portions! It has convenient parking around the back of the pub which was a bonus. The only thing to be aware of when booking is due to the age of the building, some of the corridors and stairways are a little narrow, so just be aware of that for very tall people and bulky suitcases. Would recommend though."
