"Nice room which accommodated 5 of us. Very clean and it was convenient to walk to several great restaurants. The host was very easy to communicate with and the check- in was very easy. We would definitely visit again! "

"I was really displeased with this hotel overall. It looks much nicer in photos than it actually is. It is also not properly described in Expedia. I booked a Japanese Bedroom because it looked very pretty. I discovered that the room did not have a shower. On the Expedia info site there is clearly an icon for shower and it says bathroom. This was a huge problem and the staff was not willing to help at first. They also told me there was an additional fee to use the pool and it could only be used from 9am to 12pm! This was not mentioned anywhere on the Expedia booking page. I was very upset but the pool did not look nice. There are public showers in the Onsen but they require you to be naked in public which is not something I can or will do. Finally after we had already checked in unpacked in our room, a staff member told me they had a room with a shower become avaliable. He did not offer to help move my bags or anything so I got a cart, repacked my bags, and moved from the 10th floor to the 4th floor. The room was old, grungy, and there was obvious water damage and a foul smell in the bathroom. But at that point I was not going to complain. We were only there two nights so I decided to deal with the room. There was a balcony with a fantasitic view of the beach but no chairs. The breakfast was good. A few of the people working the desk were very kind, one arranged a taxi for me. Hotel is a long uphill walk from beach but there is a bus stop close. Not many restaurants close. "
"Everything was good, cleanliness, space, friendly & helpful staffs, location & etc. The only discomfort I had was the thin layer of futon mattress. The blanket was warm and comfortable but the mattress was very thin. Not comfortable to sleep on."
