"Really nice space at an affordable price. Kitchen and game room were awesome, check-in/out super easy. Longer drive to Stowe than we thought because Smuggler's Notch was closed. Master bedroom shower faucet was out but hopefully that's been fixed."

"An extremely cosy cabin in the woods on the shore of a lake, we had a wonderful stay. The pool table / table tennis was perfect entertainment. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. The provided Roku was a very nice touch, and there was just enough Internet to watch what we were interested in. "We absolutely loved our stay. The home was bright and new, clean and comfortable. Great spaces for spreading out or watching movies all together. Everything we needed, all within a short, scenic drive to Stowe shops and restaurants. The basement area was a family favorite for watching movies, air hockey tourneys and just relaxing. We will absolutely be back. Tara, our host, was super helpful with tips for the area. Just perfect."

"This is a “lived-in” rustic log cabin and was perfect for our group of fishermen. Hanging out in the great room in the evenings was ideal. Just two suggestions -the can opener is missing a gear and the back up manual can opener is bent and bends too easily to function. We also look forward to evenings at the fire pit, but the lawn was uncut 1 to 2 feet tall -a mess and made using the fire pit and waterfront impossible."

"Our adult family of four enjoyed five nights at Hero's Landing while attending a nearby wedding. What a beautiful, comfortable spot with amazing views of the lake. The older renovated home has all the amenities you would expect. Communications with Charles, the property manager, was superb! "Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS....

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin right on the banks of Lake Champlain! It's so kind of the owners to have coffee and creamer available. We enjoyed kayaking a lot. The only problem we had was we arrived at night and couldn't find the address for 156. It's not listed on a mailbox but it is on the cabin itself."
