"Please stay away from this place. It’s not clean at all. It’s not what you see in pictures. Rooms are very small. Only 1 small bed doesn’t even fit 2 person on bed.. Don’t have any parking. Very dark in hallway. Balcony is not safe. It has very low railing."

"Had to slept over the floor rather than the bed because this hotel has No air con under the weather with temperature above 35 degree. Next to one main drive way with bus stop downstairs,thus no way to open window and sleep because crazy noise. Management has no sense to proactively help guest under this extreme weather condition. "A short walk to the lakefront where there is swimming. We also walked to dinner at a nice restaurant recommended by Paola, and we walked to get groceries. There is a nice patio and we were able to eat outside . Paola was very friendly at helpful, and she met us for our 10pm arrival."

"The apartment was very nice and clean. Suzi was a great host and had chocolate, fruit, water, snacks and coffee all ready for us! She greeted us when we got there and made us feel very welcome. The town of Montreux is so cute and everything is close by. Thank you!"

"The apartment is very well located for skiing and walking however, on the Verbo website, it lists two double rooms but actually there is only one. The other two are bunk rooms which was awkward with two couples. The Wi-Fi is quite weak and the non-stick pans need replacing. But the chalet is warm, comfortable and welcoming and the owner very responsive. Easy to access with good parking (except our bay was full of snow) so we parked in a visitor space of which there are several."

"Duplex apartment was exactly as described. The layout was very well thought out and worked well. It was just 4 of us staying - parents and adult children. Plenty of space in the living area with log burner - we used it in April and had to open the windows as it was too effective! The kitchen/ dining area had everything and plenty of it. Great shower with lots of hot water, the bath upstairs was underneath a large Velux window so the beautiful starry night sky was easily visible. We couldn't...

"Beautifully renovated apartment. Everything was clean & fresh and the position in the centre of Thonon couldn’t have been more perfect. Spent many a happy hour sitting on balcony enjoying the music or watching what was happening in the square. Dominique was lovely and so helpful, plus spoke English. "-UNRESPONSIVE HOST -Incomplete address requiring local shop keepers help to locate the unit, and to get luggage and groceries to the apartment -Unit is on 4TH FLOOR, which takes EIGHT flights of stairs to get to and there is NO ELEVATOR. -The bedroom is up an old, narrow, slippery, wooden staircase with NO LIGHTS and NO HANDRAILS. There was no way I was going to let my 81 year old mother use those stairs in the day or night! They were incredibly dangerous! -Two of the lamps in the bedroom did...
