"Room was clean but very very small. I had expected small but the photo showed a quuen roo.with a small desk & chair this room had nowhere to sit other than the bed which was crammed in so tight that only one person could sit at a time. We didnt have breakfast but it looked nice. Staff who booked us in were very good "

"The location was great and the front desk staff was very welcoming. The room was a bit outdated and you can see visible stains on the carpet. There was a smell in our throughout our whole stay. Sound insulation was OK and you could hear the noise from the street. The location was unbeatable though. "

"Everything advertised is what you get, and then some!!! Breakfast buffet was amazing and good value. The staff in breakfast dining room were sensational and quick to assist with any request. Doorman we interacted with was welcoming and charismatic which made leaving or entering the hotel a good start or finish to the day. The concierge took me for a tour showing me rooms that are closed off to guests. If you have an interest in the history of the building and Whitehall areas it is well worth your time. We stayed 6 nights and hopefully in time we can stay again."

"my single room was comfortable , clean and a trifle small. The staff were helpful and efficient. Was very satisfied by the standard overall. it was unfortunate that one of the main lifts was not working so reaching the higher floors could be slow. "

"Great hotel as a solo traveller. Booked as i was seeing a show up in the town. Location was amazing and the walls are sound proof so i slept like a baby! The breakfast looked amazing but i didn't purchase as the night before I bought myself some fresh croissants, juice and fruit from Sainburys across the road so i could have breakfast in bed! The hotel did provide coffee, tea and a kettle so it was perfect for what i needed. The bed was super comfy and the TV was great. Although i couldn't pair it with my phone which was a bit frustrating. But not a deal breaker. The only downside to my whole experience was the lady who was initially at the check in desk when i arrived. Check in wasn't until 3 but i had contacted the property to ask if an earlier check in was at all possible as the show i was seeing was starting at 2.30pm. The night manager was so helpful and explained if my room was ready i could check in early, and if it wasn't they could keep my bags safely for me. When i arrived and asked if this would be possible the lady at the front desk told me there would be a £10 early check in fee. I showed her the email I'd had from the night manager and she very quickly changed her tune and said there wouldn't be a charge. I felt like she was trying to get extra money from me for her own benefit as i had not seen anywhere else about an early check in fee. Would 100% recommend staying here and will be back next time i come up to town. Location was perfect. Room was immaculate!"
