"Great property! You get to relax and stay in nature but with all the luxury amenities. The property does a great job of having constant transportation available to move around the grounds since it’s so big. Loved our room and the quiet pool area was very relaxing with beautiful views of the ocean. All meals were great! Favorite restaurants were Aqua and Portofino. We also loved their buffet and that it had authentic Costa Rican food as options. As for the staff they are all top notch. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, offered great service and always helpful. A huge shout out to Andre who really provided excellent service the days we laid out by the beach. "

"Loved the staff. The room was comfortable. The views from the resort are some of the most beautiful views we’ve seen in our lives. We loved enjoying the awesome and friendly wildlife. The attention to detail was another level. To finish off our trip we enjoyed a super relaxing spa day. Will definitely come back again. Costa Rica is truly PURA VIDA!!!"

"Such a lovely place. Low season and we had it almost all to ourselves. All the staff so friendly and attentive - Andrea, Sergio, Daniela - we felt like we were family - they greeted us by name, knew what wanted to drink with breakfast (which is included!), were ready to take care of whatever we needed. Food good - although a little pricey, but that is what you expect at a nice resort. There are a couple of places you can walk to (did for one lunch), but mainly just ate at their nice outdoor restaurant (has an air-conditioned section if you like, but we found al fresco rather enjoyable). Paddleboards and kayaks for a modest fee (we did the latter). Decent beach you can walk for a couple miles on, without much in the way of waves so easy to swim. And nice and warm water (late Sept). Howler monkeys, iguanas and birds galore all right there. And beautiful gardens. If you want to do a tour, while you are there, go with Freddy - he is amazing, particularly if you like wildlife. Did his rainforest and volcano tour - amazing and learned so much. His assistant Meme will get you set up. Pura Vida!"

"This property is amazing and just a short walk to Playa Hermosa, which is a great beach within the bay. Not so crowded. Location is 10 min drive to Playa Coco area with more shopping and markets."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. We brought our family so the 3 bedrooms were perfect for each of us to retreat to have any personal time and rest. The kitchen was well stocked. The villa was clean, you will just need to clean it yourself as there is no room service. The bedrooms he ac and fans which worked great to stay cool. Our master bed was firm and clean.The villa is right next door to the pool in addition to the personal mini pool on the back patio. The pool has music til about 10 but it was nice and didn’t keep us awake. The beach here is very family friendly, nice waves, clear water and wonderful people. Swimming and walking back our comfortable villa were some of the best highlights of our trip. There is a shuttle that will drive you if you’re not into walking. But all that uphill walking made me feel relaxed and strong. Thanks so much for the stay. I do recommend this villa!!"
