"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. "This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way."

"The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property."

"My family loved our stay at Little Redlap. The house is large and gorgeous, with traditional features as well as a modern, light-filled kitchen where we spent a lot of time together. "What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . "I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"Great hotel in the centre of Plymouth shopping area walked to Plymouth Hoe for a concert 12/15mins but lovely walk. The Staff where amazing check in bar staff Restaurant all so good made you feel very welcome I even told the manager how good it was. Parked in drakes circus car park for 11 hours £15 car was really safe there as some car parks are really tiny if you have a 4x4 you would not get into some places. Certainly stay at this hotel again very happy "
